Why is booth so upset?
Booth was upset because the confederacy had lost and everyone was celebrating. Booth was vain, handsome, Southern man and he was an actor. Why did Lincoln’s notify Ford’s Theatre? To tell them that they were going and so they would reserve the seats.
Did Dr Mudd know Booth killed Lincoln?
Mudd’s supporters maintain that he did not know Booth and only learned later of the assassination, and when he did, he alerted Union authorities. Nonetheless, he was arrested and tried before a military tribunal, which convicted him of aiding and abetting the assassins and sentenced him to life in prison.
